Dania Hany (b.1995) is a Photographer/Visual Storyteller based between Turkey and Egypt.
Driven by a curiosity to learn more about her family history that extends all the way to the Caucasus; her work relies on using the personal as a primary subject matter. Working primarily with analog, the camera is her medium to document places and people in relation to their surroundings.
In 2019, she was selected for the Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP) grant/mentorship, mentored by Eric Gottesman.
Her work has been published online and exhibited in Cairo, Rome, Stockholm, and Zalenieki, Latvia.
